PARIS, FRANCE: Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies, a company that designs and markets innovative clinker-free cements, has signed a strategic partnership with POINT.P, a leading brand in the construction sector, to distribute its low-carbon cement products.
The partnership aims to support POINT.P’s objective of reducing carbon emissions linked to the use of cement by 35% by 2030. POINT.P will become one of the main distributors of Hoffmann Green Cement’s products through its network of concrete batching plants and precast factories.
Hoffmann Green Cement has developed a clinker-free cement based on alkali-activated slag, which has a very low carbon footprint and can be used for various structures, from single-family homes to high-rise buildings. The company is also eyeing growth opportunities in developing markets where clinker-free cement can play a key role in the energy transition and improving air quality and health.
The partnership will enable POINT.P to extend its range of low-carbon solutions across the country, while encouraging short distribution channels. The company will also be able to meet the needs of the Greater West of France.
Hoffmann Green Cement will be able to draw on its new vertical H2 plant, commissioned in the first half of 2023, to meet the growing demand for its low-carbon cement volumes.
