ESP Associates, Inc., a leading engineering design and infrastructure consulting firm, announced today that it has acquired two engineering firms to expand its professional talent and service capabilities in the growing Texas and Colorado markets.
The two acquisitions are CivilCorp, LLC, a Texas-based firm that specializes in transportation and public works engineering, geospatial and inspection services, and Ditesco, LLC, a Colorado-based firm that offers civil engineering and program, project and construction management services.
The acquisitions are part of ESP’s vision of building an ENR Top 150 Design Firm in North America, supported by its partner Strength Capital Partners, LLC. The acquisitions will enhance ESP’s capabilities in critical infrastructure markets, such as transportation, water resources and public utilities, while expanding its reach in the rapidly growing Texas and Colorado regions.
Both CivilCorp and Ditesco will retain their existing organizational structures and leadership teams, and will benefit from the partnership with ESP’s family of companies. ESP President Joe Hendrick said that the acquisitions will provide tremendous opportunities for the employees to grow and excel, and for the combined organization to deliver forward-thinking, innovative solutions to the clients and communities.
ESP also announced that it has successfully completed a refinancing of its debt facility that provides the company with a highly-efficient capital structure and ample liquidity to support continued growth investment in talent, technology, and strategic M&A.
