Port raises $18M in Series A to grow its open internal developer portal

A Series A funding round of $18 million has been secured by Port, an open internal developer portal based in Tel Aviv, Israel. This brings the total amount of money raised by the company to $23 million.

The round was led by Team8, a global venture group that creates and invests in companies in various domains, such as enterprise technologies, cyber, AI, fintech, and digital health.

Team8 is also based in Tel Aviv, Israel and was founded in 2014. Other investors in the round included TLV Partners, who invested in the seed round, and angel investors like Yoav Landman, Shlomo Kramer, Aner Mazur, and Eyal Manor. Port will use the new funds to expand its popular developer portal, which helps platform engineers drive developer self-sufficiency and productivity.

The portal allows users to define their data models and unify metadata from different sources in their tech stack. It also enables users to create reusable self-service flows that simplify complex DevOps processes.

Port also launched Port Ocean, an open-source framework for creating exporters, self-service actions, automation, and integrations. Port has attracted hundreds of organizations and dozens of paying customers since its launch in November last year.
