Camping World Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CWH) announced today that it will buy Edmundson RV, a Forest River exclusive dealer in Edinburgh, Indiana. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2024 and will add 34 service bays and 18 acres to Camping World’s network of RV sales and service locations.
This will be Camping World’s fourth location in Indiana and its first exclusive Forest River location in the state.
Camping World’s Chairman and CEO, Marcus Lemonis, said that the acquisition will strengthen the company’s position as the #1 RV retailer in Indiana and help achieve its goal of expanding to over 320 locations nationwide in the next five years. He also said that Camping World and its Good Sam brands have been serving RV consumers since 1966 and offer a unique and comprehensive assortment of RV products and services.
