Sensata Technologies (NYSE: ST), a leading provider of sensors and sensor-rich solutions for various industries, announced today that it will be added to the S&P MidCap 400 Index, a widely followed index of mid-sized companies. The inclusion will take effect from Monday, September 18, 2023.
The company’s CEO and President, Jeff Cote, said that the inclusion reflects the company’s progress and potential in scaling its Electrification business, which aims to reach $2 billion in revenue by 2026.
S&P Dow Jones Indices is the world’s largest provider of index-based concepts, data and research, and home to the S&P 500® and the Dow Jones Industrial Average®. The S&P MidCap 400 Index measures the performance of mid-sized companies in the U.S. market.
