LONDON, UK: Primary Health Properties (PHP), a leading UK investor in modern primary healthcare facilities, has announced the appointment of Mark Davies as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He will succeed Harry Hyman, the founder and current CEO of PHP, who will step down in April 2024.
Davies is a former CFO and Co-founder Director of NewRiver REIT plc, a FTSE250 property company. He has extensive experience in capital markets and operational businesses. He is also the Senior Independent Director at Palace Capital PLC, another London-listed REIT.
Steven Owen, Chairman of PHP, said that Davies’ track record and knowledge will be of considerable benefit to the company.
Harry Hyman welcomed Davies and said he looks forward to working with him for a smooth transition. Davies said he is delighted to lead PHP and its expert team, and to continue creating sustainable value from community health assets with a social purpose.
