LONDON, UK: CMC Markets Plc, a leading global provider of online (“D2C”) trading and (“B2B”) platform technology, announced that Mr Albert Soleiman has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (‘CFO’) and Executive Director with effect from 1st September 2023.
Albert first joined CMC in 2005 having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and became Group Head of Tax in 2008. In 2019 he joined Bitfury UK Limited as Global Tax Director before rejoining CMC in 2020 to lead the launch of the CMC Invest business. CMC Invest is a key element of our strategy to diversify the business and leverage our technologies and which enables our clients to generate long-term wealth through its investing platforms.
Euan Marshall, CMC’s current CFO, retired from the Board on the same date but will remain with the Group for the next few months to support the orderly transition of the CFO role, as communicated on 7 July 2023.
