Shane Yeend, the CEO of Mighty Kingdom, resigns

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Shane Yeend, the CEO of Mighty Kingdom Limited (MKL), has resigned from his position. The Board accepted his resignation after the market closed on August 31 and he stepped down immediately.

The executive team of MKL, who have led the business to a positive turnaround in the last six months, will take over his duties temporarily.

MKL will also work with Mr Yeend, who is the Chairman and CEO of Gamestar+, to sort out the issues related to their pending c.$2.1m second tranche placement commitment. The Company will update the investors on any significant developments regarding this matter.

MKL’s Chair, Michelle Guthrie, said: “We thank Mr Yeend for his service and wish him all the best for his future. Mighty Kingdom is in a great position and has a strong outlook. Our core studio business is now financially sustainable and we are looking forward to a successful FY24”.
