Cornerstone Building Brands, the largest manufacturer of exterior building products in North America, announced the acquisition of MAC Metal Architectural, a leading provider of metal siding and roofing products for residential applications.
The acquisition will enhance Cornerstone Building Brands’ exteriors portfolio with premium aesthetic and durability solutions for its customers.
Rose Lee, President and CEO of Cornerstone Building Brands, said that the acquisition will increase the company’s exposure to a fast-growing product segment that leverages its existing manufacturing expertise. Éric Paré, CEO of MAC Metal, said that he is excited to join the Cornerstone Building Brands family and to continue the expansion of MAC Metal outside of Quebec.
The acquisition is expected to be accretive to Cornerstone Building Brands through margin expansion, market share growth and manufacturing leverage.
