Fig and Fox to open new outlets for their eco-friendly gift shop

Fig and Fox, a gift and lifestyle shop that sells locally made and environmentally friendly products, is expanding its business with two new outlets this year. The shop, which opened in The Hundred in Romsey in October, is run by James and Helen Mitchell, a couple from East Wellow.

The first new outlet will be a long-term pop-up shop in Festival Place, Basingstoke, from September to January. The shop will offer personalised products, such as greetings cards, Christmas baubles, notebooks and plant misters, that customers can customise and print on the spot. The shop will also feature a market area with local food and drink, a cosmetics table, a variety of house plants and pots, and jewellery and homeware items. All products will be plastic-free and responsibly sourced.

The second new outlet will be a chalet at Winchester Cathedral Christmas Market, where the couple will sell cosmetics, personalised baubles and gifts. The chalet will be open from November to December.

The couple said they were excited to showcase their products to a wider audience and to support their local suppliers. They said they had been working hard to prepare for the busy festive season and to create their own range of products. They added that they hoped their customers would enjoy their unique and eco-friendly offerings.
