Aesthetix, a technology company that provides innovative solutions for the oil and gas industry, has announced the successful completion of its project to install a CCTV visual flame detection system for the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) pipeline from NTF to North Pier.
The visual flame detection system is designed to monitor and detect any fire incidents along the pipeline, which transports crude oil from the North Tank Farm to the export terminal. The system uses advanced image processing and artificial intelligence algorithms to identify flames in real time and trigger alarms.
The project involved complex technical challenges, such as ensuring redundancy, reliability, and safety of the system, as well as integrating it with the existing optical fiber communication network and remote terminal units. Aesthetix used its expertise and experience to provide the most efficient and effective solution for the project, which included design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, testing, commissioning, and supervision of the system.
