Storegate AB acquires 85% stake in RushFiles for DKK 3.2 million

HORSENS, DENMARK: Storegate AB, a subsidiary of Hawk Infinity Software AS, has announced that it has entered into a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of 85% of the shares in RushFiles A/S, a Danish company that offers multiple storage solutions and a content collaboration platform. The cash consideration for the transaction is DKK 3.2m (approximately USD 0.5m).

Storegate AB is a Swedish company that provides cloud storage and backup services for individuals and businesses. The company was founded in 2002 and has customers in over 70 countries. The company said that the acquisition of RushFiles will strengthen its position in the Nordic market and enhance its product portfolio.

RushFiles is based in Horsens, Denmark, and was founded in 2012. The company provides secure cloud storage and file sharing solutions for various partners, such as internet service providers, hosting companies, telecom operators, and software vendors. The company had revenues of DKK 7.9m (approximately USD 1.3m) in 2022.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of June 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.
