LONDON, UK: Actual Experience plc (AIM: ACT), the analytics-as-a-service company, confirms that Iain McCready has joined the board of the company as an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Mr McCready’s appointment was announced on 26 May 2023, subject to regulatory due diligence by the company’s Nomad. The company said the due diligence process has been completed and Mr McCready has taken up his role as CEO.
Mr McCready has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, with a focus on software and data analytics. He was previously the CEO of ZephyrTel, a cloud software provider for telecom operators, where he led the company’s growth strategy and oversaw several acquisitions. Prior to that, he held senior positions at NCR Corporation, Teradata and MicroStrategy.
Mr McCready succeeds Dave Page, who stepped down as CEO in May after 12 years at the helm of ActualExperience. Mr Page remains on the board as a Non-Executive Director.
ActualExperience is a provider of analytics-as-a-service solutions that measure and improve the digital quality of experience for businesses and their customers. The company’s technology analyses data from various sources to provide insights and recommendations on how to optimise digital performance and user satisfaction.
The company said Mr McCready’s appointment comes at a time when Actual Experience is seeing increased demand for its solutions from existing and new customers across various sectors and geographies.
