Wizz Air Launches New Service Between Budapest and Antalya

Budapest, Hungary: Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has launched a new service between Budapest and Antalya. The new route will operate three times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The launch of the new route marks Wizz Air’s fourth destination opened from Hungary this year. The airline also flies to Barcelona, Lisbon, and Rome from Budapest.

Antalya is a popular tourist destination in Turkey, known for its beautiful beaches, historical sites, and vibrant nightlife. The city is also a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts, as it is home to several ski resorts.

Wizz Air’s new service will make it easier and more affordable for Hungarians to visit Antalya. The airline’s fares start at just €29.99 one-way.

“We are delighted to launch our new service between Budapest and Antalya,” said Zsuzsa Trubek, Wizz Air spokesperson. “Antalya is a beautiful and popular tourist destination, and we are confident that our new service will be a success.”

Wizz Air is a major player in the European low-cost airline market. The airline operates a fleet of over 100 aircraft and flies to over 150 destinations in 40 countries.

The launch of the new Budapest-Antalya route is part of Wizz Air’s broader expansion plans. The airline plans to open several new routes in the coming months, including flights to Tel Aviv, New York, and Los Angeles.

“We are committed to providing our passengers with affordable travel options,” said Trubek. “The launch of our new service between Budapest and Antalya is a testament to our commitment to connecting people and cultures.”
