VINCI acquires 55% Stake in Entrevias, securing concession for Brazil's toll motorway sections

PARIS, FRANCE: French construction and concessions company VINCI has acquired a 55% stake in Entrevias, a Brazilian toll motorway concession, from Patria, a Brazilian fund. VINCI Highways, a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions, will hold the concession for two toll motorway sections in Brazil until 2047.

The motorway sections span 570 km across the state of São Paulo, linking it to the state of Minas Geiras to the north and the state of Paraná to the south. Entrevias’ network recorded 8.3 million transactions in Q1 2023, 10% more than in Q1 2022 and 8% more than in Q1 2019.

VINCI Highways’ expertise is expected to enhance the quality of Entrevias’ service while stepping up environmental initiatives.

The acquisition marks VINCI Concessions’ first motorway concession in Brazil and supports the company’s growing operations in Latin America’s largest economy. VINCI is also active in Brazil through its Energy business line: Cobra IS and VINCI Energies.
