Ride-hailing giant Uber is expanding its services once again by adding international and domestic flight bookings on its UK app. According to a report by the Financial Times, the move is part of Uber’s strategy to expand its core ride-booking business.
Andrew Brem, Uber’s UK General Manager, said that this was the “latest and most ambitious step” in the company’s strategy. Uber already offers train and coach ticket bookings in the UK, and it has now begun rolling out the new feature for its UK customers. The company plans to expand this feature in the coming weeks.
This new service will provide users with a one-stop-shop for all their transportation needs, making it easier for them to plan their trips from start to finish. The move comes as Uber looks to diversify its offerings and expand beyond its core ride-hailing business.
