The company has over 80% market share of the total district cooling market in Dubai and serves 1,463 buildings in various sectors. Empower has implemented successful proactive plans to prepare for the rise in temperatures, including sustainable and responsible methods towards maintenance works.
The company has expanded its pipeline network and implemented Thermal Energy Storage systems and heat exchangers to develop its district cooling infrastructure. The CEO of Empower, Ahmad bin Shafar, explained that the company reduces up to 50% of electricity consumption compared to traditional cooling systems.
Empower utilizes cutting-edge and globally recognized district cooling systems to meet the high demand in summer in line with the vision of promoting sustainable development. Empower has a state-of-the-art Command Control Centre (CCC) and Parallel Working Environment (PWE) technology that enables its teams to remotely monitor operations of its district cooling plants across Dubai.
