Downdetector, a website that tracks internet outages, has reported that nearly 3,000 Vodafone customers across the UK experienced network problems on Monday 10th April.
The outage peaked at 9.26am, with 87% of those affected reporting landline internet issues and 9% experiencing mobile internet difficulties. The cause of the outage remains unclear.
This comes after Virgin Media experienced internet disruption last week, with Downdetector receiving 55,000 reports of issues. Vodafone has apologised for the inconvenience and stated that their top priority is reconnecting customers.
The company is investigating the broadband connection queries and has advised customers to use their “self serve area” to diagnose and resolve any issues themselves.
