OSLO, NORWAY: Chairman Ib Kunøe has notified his intention to retire from the Board of Directors of Atea ASA following the Annual General Meeting on April 27, 2023.
Since Ib Kunøe’s appointment as Chairman in 2006, the Atea Group has established itself as by far the market leader in IT infrastructure in the Nordic and Baltic regions, with sales growing from NOK 13 billion (2007) to NOK 47 billion (2022).
In recent years, Atea has won numerous recognitions as an industry leader within sustainability and was named one of the world’s top 100 most sustainable companies by the well-respected research and media company Corporate Knights.
“It has been a great pleasure to serve as the Chairman of Atea for over 15 years,” commented Ib Kunøe. “Atea and the entire IT industry have evolved tremendously during this time. I am very proud of the performance of our company, its management team and all of its employees. I will continue to be an active shareholder in Atea ASA through my ownership of Consolidated Holding and through Consolidated’s representation on the Board.”
