Duncan West elected new Chair of Challenger Limited

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Challenger Limited (ASX: CGF) to announced the election of Mr Duncan West as Challenger’s new Chair.

Mr West will replace the current Chair Mr Peter Polson, who will retire, as previously announced, at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 27 October 2022.

Mr West has served on the Challenger Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director since 2018. He has over 30 years board and financial services experience across the UK and Australia, including CEO roles at Vero Insurance and CGU Insurance.

Mr West is the current Chair of Challenger’s Group Audit Committee and a Member of the Group Risk Committee and Nomination Committee.

commercial acumen and expertise, including deep knowledge of the Australian and global insurance sector.”
