WE.CONNECT acquires companies specialized in the distribution of digital peripherals

PARIS, FRANCE: WE.CONNECT announced the acquisition of DYADEM, OCTANT and their logistics platform SHAM.

These entities, which generated revenue of €59.7 million as of March 31, 2021 for a net profit of €1.1 million, will enable the Group to enrich its catalog with an additional range of printers and of consumables while developing a cross-selling strategy across all customer bases.

Founded in 1992 and 1999, DYADEM and OCTANT are experts in printing systems, consumables and data backup based in the Tours region. Specialized wholesalers, the two companies have developed a catalog bringing together the biggest brands of printers and consumables such as Brother, Epson, HP, Lexmark, Pantum, Ricoh, etc., and a strong partnership with Fuji for data backup products.

With their SHAM logistics platform, these entities bring together nearly 80 employees, including a sales force of 20 salespeople.

After the successful integrations in 2015 of TECHNILINE then in 2017 of the companies PCA France and HALTERREGO specialized in the distribution of computer equipment and sound, in particular with large BtoB resellers, WE.CONNECT is thus continuing its acquisition cycle to extend its scope of activity and consolidate its position as a benchmark in the distribution of high-tech equipment.

“We are very happy to welcome the DYADEM, OCTANT and SHAM teams to our group. This structuring acquisition, which is fully in line with the Group’s strategy as a specialized multi-brand distributor, offers commercial synergies that will lead to profitable growth. It corresponds to the association of two complementary players, who, through the richness of their catalog and their customer base, will benefit from the enormous potential offered by the growing market for high-tech equipment,” declares Moshey Gorsd, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of WE.CONNECT.

“Joining the WE.CONNECT Group, which has experienced strong organic growth in its activities for many years, is a formidable challenge for our teams. Our shared passion for digital equipment and our level of customer service requirements allow us to consider many business opportunities for the new entity,” adds Claude Prat, Chairman and CEO of OCTANT, DYADEM and SHAM.
