SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Stavely Minerals Limited (ASX: SVY) announced the appointment of experienced mining executive Mark Mantle as Chief Operating Officer.
Mr Mantle is a Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of the mining industry including study, project and construction management. He has worked in Africa, South America, North America, Asia and Eastern Europe with groups such as Minproc Engineers, Ausenco, St Barbara Gold Mines, Newmont and Mineral Resources.
Stavely Minerals’ Chair and Managing Director, Mr Chris Cairns, said: “I am delighted that Mark has accepted our offer to join our senior leadership team in the position of Chief Operating Officer. He brings a wealth of project evaluation and development experience ranging from early-stage scoping study through to construction delivery combined with enormous passion and enthusiasm for the role that inspires those around him.
