Techstep signs managed mobility solutions agreement with HeidelbergCement

OSLO, NORWAY: Techstep has signed an agreement with the building materials manufacturer HeidelbergCement in Norway, to provide its Managed Mobility Solutions, SmartDevice to 1,000 users in the country.

SmartDevice is Techstep’s mobile device lifecycle solution powered by Techstep’s own lifecycle handling software, including online store, self-service management portal for end-users and administrators, and the purchase of mobile devices as-a -service at a fixed monthly cost.

SmartDevice will help HeidelbergCement reduce IT costs and complexity, and improve the company’s sustainability by allowing for safe reuse or recycling of their used mobile devices.

“This agreement reflects our core offering where we provide the customer with mobile devices at a reduced cost through our as-a-service model, and onboard each user onto our cloud-based self-service platform. This lays the foundation for the customers’ further enhanced use of mobile technology to improve the world of work for their employees,” says Techstep’s CRO, Gunnar Aasen.

Techstep estimates a total contract value of NOK 8 million, with an initial contract period of two years. ARR from own software is estimated to be NOK 588 000.
