New site for The London Cocktail Club

LONDON, UK: Nightcap has entered into a lease for a new London Cocktail Club site in Corn Street, central Bristol. The site covers an area of approximately 3,500 square feet with a 2:30 am license over Thursday to Saturday. The site is expected to be open before the end of the calendar year and will have an unrestricted capacity of 310. Nightcap currently has a further five sites in legal negotiations across several of its brands.

The Company’s bars have continued to trade well ahead of management’s expectations since the relaxation of the UK Government’s Covid restrictions on 19 July 2021 and the Company has put in place procedures to ensure that all of its bars remain open and appropriately staffed throughout.

The Company is particularly pleased with the performance of its Luna Springs bar in Birmingham where unrestricted capacity has more than doubled to over 1,000. The first major event at Luna Springs took place on 24 July and was fully booked. A number of additional events are scheduled in the summer/autumn, including cinema evenings, parties and festival events.

Sarah Willingham, Chief Executive Officer of Nightcap, commented: “I am delighted to announce the first of several new sites for The London Cocktail Club. After the strong trading update announced in June and continued strong trading since the easing of Covid restrictions, the Group is starting to deliver on its national roll-out strategy and continues to look to capitalise on the pent-up demand from consumers.”
