LONDON, UK: essensys plc, the leading global provider of mission-critical software and technology to the flexible workspace industry, announces the appointment of Eric Schaffer as CEO of its Asia Pacific business, effective immediately.
Eric joins the Group’s Operating Board and will report to Mark Furness, the Group’s Founder & CEO.
Eric will lead the establishment of essensys’ Asia Pacific business, bringing extensive regional and industry specific experience. He most recently served as the Head of Real Estate Advisory for APAC for WeWork, one of the world’s largest flexible office providers, where he established and led a team spread across the region.
In July 2021, essensys successfully raised net proceeds of c.£32m via a significantly over-subscribed placing and open offer. The net proceeds will be used to pursue the Group’s growth plan over the next three years, with a significant proportion used to launch and grow essensys in Asia Pacific.
