LONDON: 88 Energy Limited has confirmed the appointment of Ashley Gilbert to the Board of the Company and as Managing Director of 88 Energy with effect from 10 May 2021, following the resignation of David Wall.
In addition, Mr Gilbert has stepped down from the role of Company Secretary and Ms Sarah Smith has been appointed in his place. Mr Gilbert will also step down from the role of Chief Financial Officer. Mr Wall’s appointment as a Director of the Company will cease on 10 May 2021.
Sarah specialises in corporate advisory and company secretarial services for listed entities, and was acting Company Secretary of 88 Energy from 2014 to 2020. Sarah has over 9 years experience in the provision of company secretarial services for listed companies, capital raisings and IPOs, due diligence reviews and ASX and ASIC compliance. Sarah is a Chartered Accountant, and has acted as the Company Secretary of a number of ASX listed companies.
