Bridget’s appointment to the Board is effective on Friday 14th August. She will stand for election at the Telstra Annual General Meeting later in the year.

LONDON: Telstra Corporation Board Chairman, John Mullen today announced the appointment of a new Director, Bridget Loudon as a non-executive Director of the Telstra Board.

Bridget is an Australian born entrepreneur and business leader who spent many years living, working and studying in France, Hong Kong and Ireland. She returned to Australia in 2010 to join Bain & Company in Sydney.

In 2013, at age 25, Bridget founded Expert360. Today, Expert360 is Australia’s number one skilled talent platform, using sophisticated vetting and matching technology to connect more than 1000 companies with more than 30,000 elite consultants, project managers, data analysts and developers.

Expert360 has been recognised as a game-changing platform by, among others, Harvard Business Review and the Economist.  Bridget has won numerous accolades such as Forbes 30 Under 30, Women’s Agenda Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year, AFR Top 100 Women of Influence in Australia and FutureMakers list of Australia’s top 25 Emerging Entrepreneurs under 25.

Mr Mullen said he was delighted to welcome someone of Bridget’s calibre to the Board and the unique perspective she would bring.

Her passion for solving customer problems and entrepreneurial thinking is also evident and critical for Telstra in today’s environment,” said Mr Mullen.

“Over the past year we have been recruiting some very talented professionals adding to the wealth of experience we already have on the Board. I am delighted to have Bridget join the Board – her youth and entrepreneurial start-up experience in particular will provide a fresh and unique perspective to ensure we are considering a range of views as we navigate Telstra through the next period.
