PIA resumes its flight operations to UAE

KARACHI, PAKISTAN: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) resumes its regular flight operations to UAE  from Thursday and tickets are already up for grabs, PIA Spokesman said on Wednesday evening.

Now PIA passengers will be able to travel from Pakistan to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Al ain and vice versa through airline’s regular flights.

He added that previously PIA was operating one way relief flights to UAE to repatriate stranded Pakistanis in the emirates, but now after obtaining permission will operate regular flights for the convenience of passengers.

Passengers can book and purchase their tickets through PIA Offices, Corporate Website and its travel agents.

However, passengers will be required to get their COVID -19 test done within 48 hours prior to fight departure and a negative test report would have to be presented at the time of Check-in. They would also require to fill health declaration form available online. PIA spokesman concluded.

Pakistan International Airlines is an international airline that serves as the national flag carrier of Pakistan under the administrative control of the Secretary to the Government of Pakistan for Aviation.

PIA has a fleet of modern aircraft which are spacious, comfortable, and designed to get you to your destination safely. PIA operates a range of advanced aircraft, ranging from the world’s preferred Boeing 777 airplane to the super-quiet Airbus A-320.

BOEING 777

The Boeing 777 family comprises of long-range, wide-body twin-engine airplanes. PIA was the first airline in the world to operate all the three variants of the 777 family: 777-200LR, 777-200ER and 777-300ER. All of them are well loved by PIA’s seasoned travelers for their spaciousness and comfort. PIA also holds the privilege of being the launch customer for 777-200LR, one of PIA’s aircraft which holds the record for the longest commercial jet flight in aviation history. At present PIA is serving destinations in USA, Canada, UK and Europe through its 777 fleet.

Airbus A320

The Airbus A320 is one of the world’s favorite narrow-body short/medium-haul jet airplanes. By virtue of right-sized fuselage, it enhances comfort for passengers and at the same time enjoys the reputation of being a fuel-efficient aircraft. A320 aircraft mostly serve PIA’s domestic and regional routes.

ATR

This modern technology turboprop is the latest type of aircraft inducted in PIA’s fleet. The ATR42-500 and ATR72-500 aircraft are configured in a comfortable two-class seating arrangement. This aircraft has enabled PIA to provide its valued customers the most convenient way to fly to far-flung and remote destinations of the country which are sparsely served by other means of transport.
