LONDON: TP Group has been awarded a contract worth approximately £1.7million by its German partner, Roda Computer GmbH, for the provision of a suite of bespoke military rugged computer servers and display units.
The systems will be used for deployed military applications by a European defence force. The equipment will be produced by the TP Group facility in Melksham, Wiltshire with work commencing immediately and continuing over a 24-month period.
TP Group designs and develops advanced technologies, engineers complex equipment and systems, and provides support throughout their operational life.
Phil Cartmell, Chief Executive Officer of TP Group, commented: “This is a tremendous order for our rugged systems team in Wiltshire and underlies the strength of Westek Technology, who we acquired in November 2018. As part of the wider Group, they now have access to business support and resources to stand alongside our increasing portfolio of global services and engineering activities.”
