STOCKHOLM: Joakim Efraimsson has now been appointed Managing Director of Wästbygg AB, the recently merged business.
In January, the decision to merge construction and project development activities within residential and commercial, into a joint organisation was announced.
Joakim will commence his new assignment and a seat in the Group Management team on June 1 this year. Jörgen Andersson, CEO, who since the merger temporarily held the position as Managing Director of Wästbygg AB, will return to focus entirely on his duties as CEO of the Wästbygg Group.
Joakim was hired by Wästbygg in 2010 and have over the years held various positions which allowed him to accumulate a deep and profound knowledge of our business and internal processes. Joakim latest role has been that of Operations Manager Residential.

Joakim have the right skills and experience to leverage the further development of our Residential and Commercial business areas. Joakim is also very appreciated for his leadership qualities, it feels especially nice to be able to nominate him as an internal candidate. Not only does this show our succession planning works, it also allows us to continue our important work without interruption, particularly considering that we recently merged our activities within Wästbygg AB into a joint organisation,” says Jörgen Andersson.
