SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Bapcor Limited, a leading provider of automotive parts and accessories, has announced that its CEO and Managing Director, Noel Meehan, will retire from his role on 5 February 2024 for personal and family reasons.
He will be succeeded by Paul Dumbrell, who will join the company on 1 May 2024.
Meehan has led Bapcor since December 2021, overseeing a period of significant change and growth through the Better than Before programme. He has also been instrumental in expanding the company’s portfolio, improving its culture, and transitioning to new distribution centres.
The current Chair of Bapcor, Margie Haseltine, has also decided not to seek re-election at the 2024 AGM, to ensure a smooth transition of leadership. She said that the Board is focused on ensuring that Bapcor has the right executive team and Board to drive profitable growth and strategic oversight.
Meehan expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead Bapcor and its 5,000+ team members, and said that he will remain with the company for a transitional period to support Dumbrell and share his strategic insights.
