STOCKHOLM: AcadeMedia, Europe’s largest education company, has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in KIDS&Co., a Polish operator of 34 preschools serving approximately 3,000 children, the company announced Monday.
The transaction marks AcadeMedia’s first acquisition in Poland and aligns with the group’s international growth strategy to broaden its geographic footprint. In 2025, KIDS&Co. reported net revenue of about 99 million Polish zloty, with adjusted EBITA in line with the group’s Preschool & International segment.

Together, we see attractive opportunities to build on this strong foundation through organic growth and complementary bolt-on acquisitions.”
AcadeMedia views KIDS&Co. as a platform acquisition in Poland, citing its established presence across major cities, track record of organic growth and scalable structures for future greenfield development and selective add-on deals.
Founded in 2006, KIDS&Co. is Poland’s largest international preschool chain and a leading private provider of early childhood education for children ages 0 to 6. The company operates 34 bilingual preschools across Poland’s major cities. In September 2026, KIDS&Co. is set to open its first primary school in Warsaw, marking an entry into a new educational segment.

Poland represents the fourth-largest preschool market in the European Union, with about 1.8 million children under age 5 and one of the bloc’s largest child populations. The country also boasts one of the EU’s fastest-growing economies, with rising household affluence and a favorable regulatory environment supporting continued growth in the private preschool and primary school sectors.
The acquisition is subject to customary approval from the Polish Competition Authority.
AcadeMedia operates preschools, compulsory schools, upper secondary schools and adult education institutions across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany.
