AUSTIN: Gyde, an AI-native brokerage platform, announced Thursday it has acquired Benavest, a national health insurance agency specializing in Affordable Care Act, Medicare and individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement plans.
The deal expands Gyde’s broker network and national reach, positioning Benavest as a key partner for brokers seeking AI tools to boost growth. Benavest, founded in 2014 as a field marketing organization in Hollywood, Florida, has built one of the largest U.S. broker networks, with expertise in ACA plans and growing Medicare services.
Gyde’s platform, including its GydeOS automation system and Gia intelligent assistant, will help Benavest’s brokers automate workflows, improve renewals, enable cross-selling into life insurance and annuities, and handle client outreach via SMS and voice.
“By combining their distribution strength with Gyde’s AI platform, we can help brokers grow faster,” Gyde co-founder and CEO Will Johnson said in a statement.
Benavest CEO Joe Gannon said the acquisition gives partners early access to AI and support to scale compliantly, attracting new agents in a competitive market.
Gyde, headquartered in Austin with New York offices, launched publicly last month with $60 million in funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. This is its second acquisition, following Palm Beach-based Avid Health.
Gyde aims to equip agencies with AI to simplify administrative tasks and provide proactive guidance on insurance, health and wealth.
