PARIS: Peugeot Invest has announced a minority investment of approximately €105 million in Novétude, a leading European higher education group specializing in paramedical training. The deal, which represents over 19% of Novétude’s share capital, positions Peugeot Invest alongside Charterhouse Capital Partners, the majority shareholder.
Novétude offers accredited degrees in osteopathy, physiotherapy, optics, dental care, and pharmacy. Peugeot Invest will collaborate with Charterhouse and the company’s management team to accelerate growth and expand operations across Europe.
As part of the agreement, Peugeot Invest will join Novétude’s board of directors. CEO Jean-Charles Douin emphasized the strategic importance of the investment, stating, “We are delighted to actively support Novétude in developing a pan-European platform dedicated to higher education in healthcare professions. This investment aligns with our strategy of playing a strengthened role as an active minority shareholder alongside Charterhouse, Sami Rifai, and his management team.”
The transaction is expected to be completed in summer 2025, pending regulatory approvals.
