Herbalife to acquire Pro2col, Pruvit, and Link BioSciences

LOS ANGELES: Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) announced plans to expand its health and wellness portfolio through a series of strategic acquisitions, positioning itself as a leader in personalized nutrition.
The company revealed it has signed a binding memorandum of understanding to acquire 100% of Pro2col Health LLC, a health-focused digital platform, and Pruvit Ventures Inc., a direct-selling company specializing in ketone supplements.
Additionally, Herbalife will take a 51% controlling stake in Link BioSciences Inc., a manufacturing firm known for its proprietary biometric processing technology.
Pro2col’s platform leverages individual biometrics to provide tailored nutrition recommendations aimed at promoting health and longevity. Link BioSciences will integrate this data to produce personalized nutritional supplements. Stephan Gratziani, Herbalife’s president and incoming CEO, highlighted the significance of these investments.
“These acquisitions modernize our business model and bring us closer to becoming the world’s premier health and wellness platform,” Gratziani said. He emphasized that Pro2col’s technology and Link BioSciences’ manufacturing capabilities will enable Herbalife distributors to better serve their customers.
A beta version of the Pro2col platform will roll out to select U.S.-based Herbalife distributors in the third quarter of 2025, with a nationwide launch slated for the fourth quarter and global markets to follow in 2026.
Pruvit Ventures, a market leader in ketone supplements, will enhance Herbalife’s product lineup. Pruvit will operate independently for up to two years during the transition period. Herbalife may also introduce ketone products under its own brand as part of this collaboration.
The acquisitions, valued between $25 million and $30 million, are set to close in the second quarter of 2025. Additional payments may apply based on performance.
Herbalife also announced an expanded partnership with soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who will serve as an advisor for the Pro2col platform. Ronaldo, a decade-long Herbalife partner, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to delivering the highest level of nutrition and wellness solutions,” he said.
Gratziani concluded by stating the acquisitions and partnership would mark a new era of growth for Herbalife, building on its 45-year legacy in health and wellness.
