LEUVEN, BELGIUM: Crescent N.V, together with several strong partners, establishes E+ Drive and enters the fast-growing market of charge stations.
The core of the E+ Drive offering and business model is the Charging Station as a Service concept – providing totally carefree charging station solutions to public authorities and private companies.
The charging stations are supplied on a rental basis and include a full portfolio of services (excavation, permit, placement, electrical installation, maintenance, insurance, help desk, charging card support, financing and platform management).
In addition to competitive pricing and the highest quality, E+ Drive has an additional important advantage for the public sector in Flanders and Brussels: the framework contract between C-Smart and the Smartville partnership (www.smartville.be), of which Crescent is a member, allows public authorities to purchase the Charging Station as a Service from the Smartville catalogue without having to issue a call for tenders.
The charging stations supplied are of top quality (produced by Belgian company Powerdale, Phoenix Contact, etc.); the E+ Drive installation and maintenance partners (APK & JACOPS) have the know-how and experience to provide complete national coverage and excellent service; and have many references in this market.
Crescent also acts as the commercial partner of E+ Drive, marketing the total solution with Option branding.
E+ Drive also offers the Charging Station as a Service in total solutions, allowing them to be combined with green energy, energy balancing, energy optimization, energy supply from local solar panels or batteries, CO2 reduction reporting.
This initiative is in line with Crescent’s previously announced strategy to bring more end-to-end integrated IOT solutions incorporating advanced sensor technology and software to the market. Alain Van den Broeck is charged with the day-to-day management of the company.
