Bristol Myers Squibb announces 5.3% dividend increase

PRINCETON: Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) announced that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share for the company’s common stock with a par value of $0.10.

The dividend will be paid on February 1, 2024, to shareholders who own the stock as of the end of business on January 5, 2024.

This quarterly dividend is 5.3% higher than the previous quarter’s dividend of $0.57 per share. Based on this quarterly dividend, the annual dividend for the fiscal year 2024 will be $2.40 per share, subject to the regular quarterly review by the Board of Directors. This is the 15th year in a row that the company has raised its dividend and the 92nd year in a row that the company has paid a dividend.

The Board of Directors has also approved a quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share for the company’s $2.00 convertible preferred stock. The dividend will be paid on March 1, 2024, to shareholders who own the preferred stock as of the end of business on January 30, 2024.
