Marshalls plc appoints Matt Pullen as new Chief Executive Officer

LONDON, UK: Marshalls plc, a leading manufacturer of products for the built environment, today announces the appointment of Matthew (Matt) Pullen as Chief Executive Officer Designate, who in due course will succeed Martyn Coffey as Chief Executive Officer.

Matt will join the Board as a Director, with effect from 8 January 2024 and will take over as CEO from 1 March 2024. Martyn will step down from the Board on 29 February 2024, but will remain available as an adviser to support Matt’s induction and transition during 2024.

Matt is an experienced leader with a strong background in the sector, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of Genuit Group plc.

Martyn will leave behind a significant legacy and we would like to thank him for his leadership over the last 10 years. Following a rigorous process to identify a successor, supported by an executive search firm, I’m delighted to welcome Matt to Marshalls and look forward to working with him.”
