Strandline appoints new MD as Coburn ramps up

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Strandline Resources Limited (ASX: STA), a mineral sands producer, has announced that Jozsef Patarica has been appointed as its new Managing Director. Mr Patarica, who joined Strandline as Chief Executive Officer in July 2023, replaces Luke Graham, who resigned after leading the company through the exploration, development and construction phase of its growth journey.

Mr Patarica is a mining engineer and an MBA graduate with over 30 years of experience in the resources industry, including the mineral sands sector. He has successfully transitioned several projects from development to operations. Mr Patarica said he was excited to lead Strandline into the future and deliver value for shareholders.

Strandline’s Chair, Mr Didier Murcia, thanked Mr Graham for his efforts and welcomed Mr Patarica as the new MD. He said Mr Patarica’s proven leadership and operational excellence made him the ideal person to guide Strandline through the ramp-up of its Coburn mineral sands project in WA, which is well underway.

Strandline said it had recently completed capital modification works to the Wet Concentration Plant (WCP) at Coburn, which resulted in a significant improvement in separation efficiency. The company said it would provide an operational update on Coburn in early October 2023.
