PlayStation Plus to lose 16 free games after October 17

PlayStation Plus subscribers will have to say goodbye to some of their favourite games as Sony has announced that 16 titles will no longer be available for free on the service after October 17. This is a big disappointment for gaming enthusiasts who enjoy playing these games without paying extra.

Some of the popular games that will be leaving the PlayStation Plus catalog are Far Cry 5, Limbo and Yakuza 5 Remastered. These games offer a variety of genres and experiences, from open-world action-adventure to atmospheric puzzle-platformer to crime drama. PlayStation Plus subscribers who have not played these games yet should hurry up and download them before they are gone.

However, there is some good news for fans of these games. Sony has confirmed that the games will return to the PlayStation Store as regular purchases, meaning that they can still be bought and played after October 17. The prices of these games may vary depending on the region and the platform.

The full list of games that will no longer be free on PlayStation Plus after October 17 are:

  • Astebreed
  • Clouds & Sheep 2
  • Far Cry 4
  • Far Cry 5
  • Gal*Gunvolt: Burst

  • The Crew
