Posted on September 5, 2023September 5, 2023

Kindo, a startup that provides a secure AI productivity platform for businesses, has raised $7 million in seed funding led by Riot Ventures.

The company, founded by former executives and engineers from Bird Rides, Clover Health, Riot Games, Google, OpenAI, and Square, enables businesses to use any AI model, whether commercial, open source, or proprietary, in their workflows.

Kindo’s platform also offers security, compliance, and centralized governance features to ensure safe and responsible AI adoption.

According to VentureBeat Kindo’s CEO Ron Williams said he saw a huge opportunity for generative AI as it became more accessible and powerful last year. He said he wanted to create a solution that would allow businesses to leverage AI’s full potential without compromising their data, intellectual property, or personal information.

Kindo’s platform connects to over 200 SaaS business applications and provides access to state-of-the-art conversational AI assistants and AI-powered workflows. It also gives companies full visibility and control over the usage of AI within their organization.

The seed funding will help Kindo scale its operations and grow its customer base. The company’s mission is to revolutionize the way companies use AI to enhance their performance and productivity.
