LONDON, UK: Graft Polymer (UK) plc (LSE:GPL), the specialty chemicals company, has signed a 12-month R&D and Supply agreement with Vilher, a Mexican company that works with Wood Plastic Composite, Plastic Recycling, and High-Performance Compounds.
The two companies have been collaborating on various modified polymer projects using Graft’s GRAFTABOND product, which is leading the field in trials in different polymer matrices.
The agreement will allow them to develop innovative products for the growing markets of WPC, recycled plastic and plastic compounding, which are expected to reach US$15.3bn, US$55.9bn and US$87.11bn respectively by 2030.
The products will be supplied from Graft’s new facility in Borovnica, Slovenia.
