LONDON, UK: Savills plc, the international real estate advisor, has announced that Stacey Cartwright will take over as Chair of the company from Nicholas Ferguson, who will retire from the Board at the end of 2023.
Stacey Cartwright has been a non-executive director of Savills since 2018, and Senior Independent Director since 2021. She has extensive leadership experience in various sectors, having held senior roles at Harvey Nicholls, Burberry, Egg, AerCap, Genpact, Gymshark and MAF Entertainment.
Mark Ridley, Chief Executive Officer of Savills, thanked Nicholas for his leadership and contribution to the company’s growth and development over the past seven years. He also welcomed Stacey as the next Chair and said he looked forward to working with her to deliver the Group’s long-term strategic objectives.
Nicholas said he was delighted that Savills had appointed Stacey as his successor and praised her for her skills and expertise. He said he was proud of the strong platform for future growth that Savills had built.
