SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Podium Minerals Limited (ASX: POD) Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer Sam Rodda has tendered his resignation effective immediately.
Sam Rodda was appointed as Chief Executive Officer on 1 January 2022 and as Managing Director on 11 April 2022.
Podium Chairman Rod Baxter commented “On behalf of the Board and the Company I thank Sam for his service and commitment to the Company, and his contribution to the Podium team.
During his tenure he has ably led the continued exploration, growth and development of the Company’s Parks Reef PGM Project.
We thank Sam for his efforts in advancing the Company to this point, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
With the resignation of Mr. Rodda, the Company will not have a full-time Managing Director for a period of time.
Executive and managerial leadership of the Company will be provided by Chairman Rod Baxter who will assume executive responsibilities for an interim period as an Executive Director.
During this time the Company will continue to progress key activities relating to its Parks Reef project.
These include metallurgical test-work focused on flotation and pre-treatment to upgrade the ore through enhanced metal recoveries and rejection of waste material, prior to the next stage of beneficiation through a down-stream leach processing.
In addition, the Company will continue to investigate portable XRF analysis of drill samples from the Parks Reef orebody as a means to potentially increase confidence in the resource model and identify areas of high-grade resource continuity, to guide the targeting of potential mine start-up areas.
