OSLO, NORWAY: Prosafe, a provider of offshore accommodation services, has appointed Terje Askvig as its new CEO, effective from 1 November 2023.

Terje Askvig has experience from shipping, oil service, family office and private equity. He has been a partner and senior advisor at Triton Partners, a European private equity firm, for the last 11 years.

He has also been the CEO of Eitzen Chemical and Fred. Olsen Renewables, and held various board positions in Triton-related and other companies.

Glen Rødland, Chairman of Prosafe, said Terje Askvig has a unique and relevant background that fits well with Prosafe’s strategic agenda in a volatile and improving market.

Reese McNeel will continue as interim CEO until Terje Askvig takes over.
