LONDON, UK: Zenova Group PLC, a provider of fire safety and heat management technology solutions, has received its first order for the FX500 aerosol fire extinguisher via Zensafe Ltd, one of its sub-distributors in the UK.

The order of 10,000 units, with an Amazon retail value of £30 per unit and totaling £300,000, will be supplied to Amazon via Zenova’s logistics partner, The Keswick Group. The FX500 will be sold through Zensafe’s platform on Amazon, with the first 500 units already delivered and stocked for sale.

The FX500 is a powerful extinguisher that can put out all types of fires at the simple push of a button, even operating at -10 centigrade. It has been tested to BS6165 standards, which confirms its effectiveness as an extinguisher.

Zenova’s policy of obtaining third-party independent testing for all its products, and where required by regulation, certification of the performance of its products, has been validated by the testing of the FX500.

Tony Crawley, CEO of Zenova Group PLC, said, “It is very encouraging that our sub-distributor has developed the platform on Amazon and is now selling our products via that channel. We expect this to be the first of many orders as we experience demand for this product not just in the UK but around the world given its powerful properties extinguishing all types of fire.” He also noted that the FX500 is safe to deploy in a kitchen environment, where 75% of all residential fires start, and can safely tackle oil fires among others, as well as electrical fires.

Zenova produces the FX500 in both Canada and the UK, and it is now ready for both retail and commercial markets. With its significant performance capabilities, the FX500 is set to become a highly sought-after product in the fire safety industry.
