LONDON, UK: TruFin announced that its subsidiary Playstack, a leading games technology business headquartered in London, has released The Entropy Centre, a new game developed by Stubby Games Limited, a UK-based indie developer.
Out today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, The Entropy Centre is a first-person sci-fi puzzle game. With the help of ASTRA, a talking ‘entropy’ gun, players navigate an abandoned space station and use the gun’s time-bending capabilities to overcome challenges and – ultimately – save Earth from destruction.
Harvey Elliott, Chief Executive Officer, Playstack, commented: “The Entropy Centre is a prime example of what we look for at Playstack. It is a witty and smart puzzle game that is resonating with fans. Following a great response so far, we are looking forward to seeing the impact the game will have on release.”
Daniel Stubbington, Founder, Stubby Games, said: “It is hard to put into words just how dizzying and exciting this journey has been. Only two years ago The Entropy Centre was merely an idea that danced through my head while I tried to sleep, and now here we are with the game’s official release on PC and console. I cannot thank Playstack and our fans enough for their support.”
TruFin plc is the holding company of an operating group comprising four growth-focused technology businesses operating in niche markets: early payment provision, invoice finance, IFA finance and mobile games publishing.
