LONDON, UK: The Stanley Gibbons Group announced that Graham Shircore, Group CEO will be stepping down on September 12th 2022 to return to work at Phoenix Asset Management Partners, the Group’s majority shareholder. It is anticipated that Graham will become a non-executive director of the Group at this stage
The Board announced that Tom Pickford will replace Graham as CEO at that time. Tom has a wealth of experience in delivering successful business growth and a strong track record in the digital world. Combined with a strong focus on sales and customers, the Board believes that Tom has the ideal mix of abilities required for the next stage in the Group’s journey which began with its recapitalisation just over four years ago.
Harry Wilson, Group Chairman, commented: “I am delighted that Tom has accepted the opportunity to lead the Group in the coming years as we continue to build on the progress made in recent times and accelerate the progress towards our ambitious longer-term goals.”
