SYDNEY: Cycliq Group Ltd announces that by mutual agreement, the planned termination date for Paul Claessen and Ben Hammond, Co CEO’s of Cycliq Limited, has been brought forward to the close of business Monday 8 February 2021.
Claessen and Hammond will stay on in a consulting role for 1 month to provide a thorough transition to the incoming management team.
Sarah Thorpe and Michael Freiberg have both recently joined the company in consulting roles to provide leadership, operational management, production and supply chain expertise, and strategic focus to the Company.
It is anticipated that Sarah will transition to the CEO role over the coming month, and Michael will join as the Chief Product Officer when the AlRhub transaction (as announced on 17 December 2020) is completed.
The Directors of Cycliq wish to thank both Paul and Ben for their stewardship of the company during a difficult and demanding time. Their commitment to the company has been exemplary and ongoing desire to assist with the transition for the new management team is of great assistance to the Company.
Sarah is an experienced management consultant and company executive with a track record of driving strategic change across organisations. She worked for a global management consulting firm before branching out as an independent consultant.
More recently, Sarah led the transformation of a healthcare business that was acquired by the largest health insurance company in the US.
Sarah has a strong background in strategic management and financial planning. Her experience extends across a range of industries, including financial services, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, metals and mining, and nonprofit. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is a graduate of Harvard University’s Harvard Business Analytics Program.
