Skanska sells two office buildings in Bucharest, Romania, for EUR 97 million 1

HELSINKI: Skanska has sold two office buildings in Bucharest to S IMMO AG, an Austrian-based real estate company. The transaction is valued at EUR 97M, about SEK 995M, and will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Europe for the fourth quarter of 2020.

The transfer of the properties is scheduled for the second quarter of 2021.

The office buildings, named Campus 6.2 and 6.3, are part of the four-building office business park Campus 6. It is located in the heart of Bucharest’s hottest sub-market, the Center-West. The second and third buildings of the complex consist of nearly 38,000 square meters and have been leased to 99 per cent.

The anchor tenants are the blue chip-companies Microsoft and Société Générale European Business Services. Campus 6.2 was delivered in October 2020 and Campus 6.3 will be delivered in Q1 2021. Both buildings have already achieved LEED Gold and WELL Silver pre-certification.
